Recreation

Interlaken is a town set between two lakes at the foot of the Eiger, Munch and Jungfrau mountains. From here it is a short train ride to Lauterbrunnen, where cable cars run to Murren and trains run to Wengen and Grindelwald. Murren is served by 12 lifts over 53 kilometres of pistes, Wengen is served by 19 lifts over 112 kilometres of pistes and Grindelwald has 20 lifts covering 213 kilometres of pistes. All three resorts cater for skiers of all abilities.
