Driving directions from Wellington Airport (WLG): Follow the exit signs to Wellington City. This is State Highway One. At the corner of Buckle and Taranaki Streets, turn right and follow this road for approximately 200 metres north. Turn left into Jervois Quay. Follow Jervois Quay north for approximately two kilometres. This road becomes Customhouse Quay. Turn left into Ballance Street. The Wellesley in on the left-hand side of Ballance Street.

Open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Continental breakfast is provided daily. Service is silver service with linen tablecloths and silverwear branded with Wellesley crest. The restaurant is lit by chandeliers, with candelabras in the windows. Animal heads are hung on the walls around the restaurant.
