The Omni's freeform outdoor pool, children's pool, and spa tub are open from May until October. The fitness center (surcharge) provides saunas, spa-treatment rooms, and an assortment of equipment, including treadmills, stair machines, stationary bikes, free weights, exercise balls, and a rowing machine.
The wooded hiking, biking, and riding trails of Rock Creek Park are one block beyond the hotel grounds. Four miles away, the 18-hole golf course at Hains Point is perched on the banks of the Potomac River. There's a two-tier driving range and a miniature golf course that is listed on the National Register for Historic Places.
