Hotel Information: Brightly colored “villages” are themed in five distinct Caribbean styles inspired by and named after the Caribbean islands of Trinidad, Martinique, Barbados, Aruba, and Jamaica. Each of the five villages is made up of clusters of two-story buildings that blend cool pastel walls, white-wood railings, and vividly colored metal roofs. Each village has its own swimming pool and playground, and offers chaise lounges, cabanas, and hammocks for relaxing on the white-sand shore of Barefoot Bay. Old Port Royale, a festive gathering place, offers a Spanish fortress–themed pool with a slide as well as recreation, dining, and shopping.
Amenity highlights: Old Port Royale opens onto a lakeside recreation area with the Old Port Royale pool that features a slide and a white-sand beach. Guests can rent boats or bikes and use the 1.4-mile promenade around the lake for biking, walking, or jogging. Parrot Cay Island in the middle of the lake features narrow paths with live parrots, gazebos, a children’s playground, and a picnic area.

Disney's Magical Express: Guests of this resort are eligible for complimentary Disney's Magical Express service. Motor coaches pick up guests at Orlando International Airport and drop off at Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels. Disney staff members pick up bags and deliver them straight to guestrooms (for arrivals between 5 AM and 10 PM). Guests arriving outside of these hours should pick up their baggage at baggage claim to carry with them on the motor coach.

Know Before You Go
Resort Airline Check-In Service allows guests to check luggage and receive airline boarding passes at resort hotels. This service now accepts one bag per passenger for guests who fly AirTran, Alaska Airlines, Delta, and JetBlue. Guests with multiple bags must call Baggage Airline Guest Services (407-284-1231, 7 AM - 11 PM daily) to pay excess luggage fees before checking in. Otherwise, additional bags must be checked at the airport.
Guests flying on United Airlines who utilize Resort Airline Check-In Service are currently exempt from the airline's excess luggage fees.
Guests flying on American Airlines, Continental, Northwest Airlines, and US Airways who wish to check any bags must call Baggage Airline Guest Services to pay their airline baggage fees before checking in at the Resort Airline Check-In desk. Otherwise, guests must check in at the airport.
For all airlines, guests should ensure that their luggage is 50 pounds or less in order to use Resort Airline Check-In Service and that it complies with their airline's baggage policy. Resort Airline Check-In desks cannot accept overweight or oversized luggage. Excess luggage fees vary by airline.
Dining
Shutters - This casual, table-service restaurant features Caribbean-inspired specialties and tropical drinks such as tangerine margaritas and mango mojitos. Entrées range from an all-American prime rib to oven-roasted jerk chicken and teriyaki-marinated tofu stir-fry. Desserts include a French-toast bread pudding with caramelized roasted bananas and coconut ice cream. Dinner only. Market Street Food Court - Perfect for families, this food court features four counter-service windows with everything from burgers and subs to cinnamon buns. The spacious dining room seats 500, and an outdoor patio is available. A Grab-N-Go Market is also available at this dining location. |
Banana Cabana - This poolside bar, which is open most of the day, features frozen specialty drinks and other alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Light snacks are available.
