Whale-watching trips are available and most leave from the Inner Harbour, less than a mile from the hotel. Downtown Victoria is fairly flat and easy to explore on foot. Water taxis also zip across the Upper and Inner Harbours, connecting the areas and offering a different perspective of Victoria and this end of Vancouver Island. There are several golf courses on the island as well.
