Hotel Information: The lobby lounge of the Hotel Santa Marina is like an immaculate private sitting room, decorated in warm and welcoming reds and browns. The marble floor, rich cherrywood panelling, Persian-style rugs, and traditional period furniture sit alongside informal sofas and armchairs. Rooms
Set in two interlinked buildings, formerly a 15th-century convent, the Hotel Santa Marina, Venice, comprises 55 air-conditioned guestrooms on four floors with lift access. As with most historical Venetian accommodations, rooms are fairly compact and irregularly shaped to fit in with the ancient surroundings. All are decorated in traditional style with fabric wall coverings, painted furniture, and Murano glass chandeliers. Floors are carpeted and rooms in the older part of the building feature exposed beams. Rooms look onto the square or the side canal.

Lido, three kilometres away, (15 minutes by waterbus from the San Marco stop) is the recreation and beach area of Venice and offers sporting and leisure opportunities. From the water bus stop the beach is a five-minute bus journey or 15-minute walk.
