• Leave on Grant McConachie Way and cross the Arthur Laing Bridge.
• Exit onto Granville St and continue on Granville to 16th Ave.

• Turn right onto Second Ave.
• Turn left onto Anderson St, the entrance of the island.
• Continue on what becomes Cartwright St to its corner with Johnston St. The hotel is on the right.

Getting around: Walking and biking are favorite ways to get around the island. Exploring False Creek can be done by small ferries which pick up at the island's Public Market and stop at several locations, including Yaletown and Science World. Single ferry rides are mostly less than C$5. Once on the city center side, buses offer service to the downtown core and connections to SkyTrain light rapid transit and SeaBuses operating in Burrard Inlet. Buses also run downtown from the entrance to Granville Island at Anderson and Second Ave. Public transit fares are less than C$5. A car is only necessary for traveling to more distant attractions and out of the city to the islands or up the coast.
