As part of a large gated community, The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera sits amid four world-class golf courses. Among the options, guests can try their luck on two 18-hole championship courses designed by Jack Nicklaus and Tom Fazio, respectively, and a 9-hole "short course" designed to help players improve their short game. The lodge itself features a free-form outdoor pool, an Olympic-style indoor pool in a glass-walled pool house, and a large fitness center with banks of free weights and exercise equipment. Set on a mountaintop in a gated community 15 miles west of Vail, The Lodge & Spa at Cordillera is built in the manner of a Belgian chateau. The hotel's two wings are decorated with rock walls, dormer windows, and public areas that blend alpine and European influences.
The centerpiece of the lodge is The Spa at Cordillera, which offers a full menu of services in the European spa tradition. In addition to aromatherapy, prenatal, and custom massages, guests can reserve a range of body treatments, manicures and pedicures, and wellness services.
The adjacent fitness center features heated indoor and outdoor pools, indoor and outdoor spa tubs, and stair machines and other cardiovascular equipment. Multi-disciplinary programs, including fitness consultations, spa treatments, and sessions with a personal trainer, are also available.
The concierge can arrange rental car, limousine, or shuttle van service to and from the Denver and Vail/Eagle airports. Private helicopter service is also available.

Policies
Vail Resorts Lodging Company has partnered with the National Forest Foundation to support projects that improve and enhance the White River National Forest. As part of this initiative, a voluntary donation of $1 per room per night will automatically be added to the bill. The entire contribution will be forwarded to the National Forest Foundation. For every dollar contributed by guests, the National Forest Foundation will invest $1.50 in on-the-ground conservation.
If guests do not wish to make this contribution, they should let the front desk staff know and it will be removed from their bill immediately.

Mirador - This restaurant is noted for its extensive wine list and light interpretations of classic Continental dishes, such as Blue Crab Cake, Sage Roasted Chicken, and Applewood Smoked Rack of Lamb. Chaparral - Prime aged beef, seafood, pastas, and vegetarian dishes are served in a casual restaurant decorated in a vintage "Colorado Territorial" motif. Timber Hearth Grill - Signature dishes, including Sesame Seared Tuna and Veal Chops Stuffed with Prosciutto, top the menu at this restaurant in the clubhouse at the resort's Mountain Course. Grouse-on-the-Green - Located in the clubhouse at the resort's Short Course, this pub-style restaurant features classic Irish dishes, international favorites, and a selection of microbrews. |
