Spa

Located on the island in a traditional Polynesian Faré, the Manea Spa focuses on traditional Tahitian treatments. There are twin massage tables and a Zen-style garden in front of the Faré. Click the links below for more details.

Philosophy (click here)

The philosophy of Manea Spa incorporates the traditional art of Polynesian massage, Taurumi. It uses ancient practices and local island ingredients, including Sandalwood, Tiare, Ylang Ylang, and Monoï. Signature treatments include Monoï oil, made of coconut oil, fresh Gardenia flowers, and sand.

Monoï Rai Fenua - Scalp Massage and Reflexology (50 minutes): CFP7,000 single−CFP20,500 couple (AU$100−$300)
This treatment begins with a ritual footbath, and is complemented with reflexology massage of zones of the scalp and feet. Available for individuals or couples, for 30-minute sessions and 50-minute sessions.

Monoï Maha Rima (30 minutes): CFP11,000−CFP21,000 (AU$150−$300)
Two masseuses work in synchronization, with Monoï Oil, to awaken personal rhythm and harmonious equilibrium. This treatment is available for 30-minute sessions and 50-minute sessions.

One Manea (80 minutes): CFP11,000−CFP27,000 (AU$150−$400)
This treatment begins with a gentle sand scrub, and is followed by a shower before a full body massage with natural Monoï. This is available for individuals or couples, for 50-minute sessions and 80-minute sessions.

Hohoa Tane - Facial (50 minutes): CFP11,500−CFP19,500 (AU$150−$300)
A sandalwood-based facial to clean and restore the facial skin combined with a neck, scalp and face massage for wellbeing and relaxation. This is available for individuals or couples, for 50-minute sessions.

Rauru One - Hair Treatment (50 minutes): CFP11,000−CFP19,000 (AU$150−$300)
The hair is given a scalp treatment using coconut milk and a scalp massage provides relaxation. This treatment leaves the hair soft and silken. This is available for individuals or couples, for 50-minute sessions.

Rooms

Manihi Pearl Beach Resort offers 41 guestrooms. Furnishings include sofa beds and desks. Guestrooms have coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include bathrobes, hair dryers, and showers only. Guestrooms provide minibars and slippers. They also provide televisions. Services include a turndown service, housekeeping, and in-room massage. Guestrooms at Manihi Pearl Beach Resort are accessible via exterior corridors. Rollaway beds are also available.

Snorkelling trips, outrigger canoe trips, lagoon and deep sea fishing, and scuba diving are amongst the water-based activities of Manihi Pearl Beach Resort. Free activities include beach volleyball and use of outrigger canoes.

The Resort can arrange many excursions for guests, including visits to the Pearl Farms, picnics on neighbouring deserted islands and sunset cruises.

Manihi Airport (XMH): Approximate travel time from Papeete is 1 hour 40 minutes and distance is 520 km.

Getting there:Guests will fly from Papeete International airport (PPT) and arrive at Manihi airport. Guests are met at the airport by Private Hotel Transfer car. Car rentals are available online (click the links below for instructions/details).

Dining

Poe Rava - The open-air Poe Rava restaurant overlooks the lagoon from its terrace. It serves International and Polynesian cuisine with an emphasis on local lagoon and ocean fish that are caught daily in Tuamotu waters. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Miki Miki Bar - Set between the beach and pool, the beachside Miki Miki Bar serves drinks, and cocktails.
