Renovation Notice

This hotel is currently renovating its guestrooms in order to offer complimentary wireless Internet access. Completion is scheduled for April 2007. Completion date subject to change.

Recreation

Guests may rent bicycles for a fee of JPY500 (US$4.25) per 3-hour period.

A golf driving range (Shiba Driving Range) is located approximately 1 km (0.6 miles) south of the hotel inside Shiba Park.

Property Amenities

A 14-floor building, the hotel has 431 guestrooms. Free wireless Internet access is available in the lobby, as is high-speed Internet access on two computers which may be used for a fee of JPY100 (US$0.85) per 10 minutes. Copy and fax services are available at the front desk, as is a rental ballroom with audiovisual equipment. The lobby also has English-language tourist information pamphlets, a vending machine area for soft drinks, beer, snacks, cigarettes, and newspapers. Another feature in the lobby is an “air shower”, in which allergy-sensitive guests may use jets of air to remove pollen from themselves before proceeding to their rooms.

Self parking:
JPY 1,500 (US$5–$15) per 24-hour period. Parking is located in a monitored facility beneath the hotel.

Important registration notice: The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc.). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.

Getting there: Travelers are advised to take the Airport Limousine Bus from the airport to the Hotel Okura, and from there a taxi to the Shinbashi Atagoyama Tokyu Inn. Alternatively, travelers may take the train from the airport station to Shinbashi Station, and then a taxi to the Shinbashi Atagoyama Tokyu Inn. The first bus departs from the airport-area stop at 7:25 AM; the last bus departs at 9:30 PM. From the Hotel Okura, proceed by taxi (approximately 10 minutes) to the Shinbashi Atagoyama Tokyu Inn. Travel time and bus schedules subject to change without notice.
Proceed by taxi to the Hotel Okura. A bus travels from the Hotel Okura to the airport 13 times daily. The first bus departs from the hotel at 6:30 AM; the last bus departs at 5:20 PM.

Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): The JR Narita Express travels from the airport train station to Tokyo Station 37 times daily. The first train departs from the airport at 7:42 AM; the last departs at 9:43 PM. From Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line heading towards Shinagawa. Exit the train at Shinbashi Station and proceed by taxi to the hotel.
Proceed by taxi from the hotel to Shinbashi Station. Take the JR Yamanote Line to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, the JR Narita Express travels to the airport 38 times daily. The first train departs from Tokyo Station at 6:30 AM, the last departs at 8:03 PM.

Instructions: Taxis leave from outside the arrival area on the first floor. Fixed fare taxis are provided by the Narita International Airport Taxi Council. At the designated fixed fare taxi stand, a concierge will direct travelers to the first available cab. Ask the driver to stop at the Shinbashi Atagoyama Tokyu Inn.

Shangri-La - Elegant but relaxed restaurant serving Western-style meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Large windows along wall offer view of street. Wooden flooring and tables, leather-backed chairs.

Atago - Casual dining space serving mixed Western/Japanese-style breakfast buffet. Wooden tables, framed artwork along walls.
