Recreation

Guests of the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu have access to the fitness center and pool of the Cerulean Tower Hotel (located four blocks away) for a surcharge of JPY5,000 (US$41–$45) per day. The fitness club contains treadmills, stationary bikes, dumbbells, and strength-training machines. Personal trainers are available. Elementary-age school children are not allowed in the pool.

Tokyo International Airport Narita (NRT): Approximate travel time is 2 hours and distance is 60 km (37 miles).

Getting there: Travelers are advised to take the Airport Limousine Bus from the airport directly to the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu. Alternatively, travelers may take the train from the airport station to Shibuya Station, then walk one block. Rental cars are not recommended for travelers unfamiliar with this area. Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): The JR Narita Express travels from the airport train station to Tokyo Station 37 times daily. The first train departs from the airport at 7:42 AM, the last departs at 9:43 PM. From Tokyo Station, guests should transfer to the JR Yamanote line and get off at Shibuya Station. After passing through the turnstile, they should follow the signs and proceed to the Mark City building, which is connected to Shibuya Station by an enclosed walkway. The Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu’s check-in area is located on the fifth floor of the Mark City building.
Guests should take the JR Yamanote Line from Shibuya Station to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, the JR Narita Express travels to the airport 38 times daily. The first train departs from Tokyo Station at 6:30 AM, the last departs at 8:03 PM.

Instructions: Taxis leave from outside the arrival area on the first floor. Fixed fare taxis are provided by the Narita International Airport Taxi Council. At the designated fixed fare taxi stand, a concierge will direct travelers to the first available cab. Guests should ask the driver to stop at the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu, located in the Mark City building, adjacent to Shibuya Station.
