Recreation

The Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo’s fitness club features a 25-meter indoor pool. Stationary bikes, treadmills, strength-training machines, and dumbbells up to 25 kilograms are also available. Aerobics and yoga instruction is also offered. The fitness club is open from morning till night. Admission is JPY700 (US$6) per session; guests under 13 not allowed.

Narita International Airport (NRT) Approximate travel time is 2 hours and distance is 63 km (39 miles).

Getting there: Guests are advised to travel from the airport to the hotel via the airport limousine bus. Alternately, guests may take the train from the airport station to Shinagawa Station, then proceed by taxi to the hotel. Rental cars are not recommended for travelers unfamiliar with this area. Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): The JR Narita Express travels from the airport train station to Tokyo Station 37 times per day. The first train departs from the airport at 7:42 AM, the last at 9:43 PM. From Tokyo Station, guests should transfer to the JR Yamanote Line bound for Shinagawa then exit the train at Shinagawa. Guests should then proceed by taxi to the Sheraton Miyako Hotel Tokyo.
A shuttle bus travels between the hotel and Shinagawa Station. From Shinagawa Station, guests should take the JR Yamanote Line to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, the JR Narita Express travels to the airport 38 times per day. The first train departs from Tokyo Station at 6:30 AM, the last at 8:03 PM.

Important registration notice: The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc.). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
