Spa

Located on the ninth floor of the main building, the Relaxation Nature Court is a full-service health spa. Jet-lag therapy, massages, and mineral baths are available in seven treatment rooms. The facility also houses an oxygen bar. Guests staying in Grand Comfort Rooms have complimentary use of the Basic Plan one time per day while staying in the hotel. The Basic Plan includes use of the meditation space and oxygen bar, jet lag facilities, and mist sauna, as well as one additional massage or bath treatment option. Guests not staying in Grand Comfort Rooms may use the Nature Court for a surcharge of JPY12,600 (US$107). Additional massage or bath treatment options may be added for JPY4,200 (US$36) each. The Nature Court’s services are designed not only to make guests feel pampered, but healed and cleansed as well. All Basic Plan programs include use of an oxygen and aroma bar, jet lag treatment using varying light and oxygen to remove the fatigue of traveling into Tokyo from a different time zone, a low-temperature mist sauna, and one of the additional options listed below.

Recreation

The Okura Health Club includes a 20-meter, five-lane indoor swimming pool, treadmills, stationary bikes, dumbbells, free weights, and strength-training machines. Personal trainers are available, as are sauna rooms, massage treatment, and a juice/snack bar for when guests finish their workouts. Access to the pool and sauna is JPY2,100 (US$18); access to the pool, sauna, and gym is 5,775 (US$49) per day. A 25- meter outdoor pool is also open during the summer season.

Getting there: Travelers are advised to take the Airport Limousine Bus from the airport directly to the Hotel Okura. Alternatively, travelers may take the train from the airport station to Kamiyacho Station, then walk 0.4 km (0.3 miles) to the hotel. Rental cars are not recommended for travelers unfamiliar with this area.

Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): The JR Narita Express travels from the airport train station to Tokyo Station 37 times daily. The first train departs from the airport at 7:42 AM, the last departs at 9:43 PM. From Tokyo Station, guests should transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line bound for Shinjuku. At Kasumigaseki Station, they should transfer to the Hibiya Line bound for Naka-meguro, getting off at Kamiyacho Station, and leaving the station from exit 4b. At the top of the stairs, guests should proceed to the right, turn left at the intersection, and proceed up the hill. They should then continue following the road as it veers to the right. The Hotel Okura annex building is located on the left, directly before the T-intersection. Guests staying in either the annex or the main building may check in at the annex building’s ground floor lobby.
From Kamiyacho Station, guests should take the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line bound for Kita-senju to Kasumigaseki Station. They should then transfer to the Marunouchi Line bound for Tokyo, getting off at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, the JR Narita Express travels to the airport 38 times daily. The first train departs from Tokyo Station at 6:30 AM, the last departs at 8:03 PM.

Instructions: Taxis leave from outside the arrival area on the first floor. Fixed fare taxis are provided by the Narita International Airport Taxi Council. At the designated fixed fare taxi stand, a concierge will direct travelers to the first available cab. Guests should ask the driver to stop at the Hotel Okura, near Kamiyacho Station.
