Location Details

Narita International Airport (NRT) Approximate travel time is 2 hours and distance is 60 km (37 miles).

Getting there: Guests are advised to take the airport limousine bus from the airport directly to the Hotel Grand Palace. Alternately, guests may take the train from the airport station to Kudanshita Station, then walk two blocks to the hotel. Rental cars are not recommended for travellers unfamiliar with this area. Approximate travel time from the airport to the train station: 1 hour, 15 minutes
Approximate train cost (subject to change without notice): JPY3,100 (US$27).

Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): The JR Narita Express travels from the airport train station to Tokyo Station 37 times daily. The first train departs from the airport at 7:42 AM, the last at 9:43 PM. From Tokyo Station, guests should transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line bound for Ikebukuro. At Otemachi Station, guests should then transfer to the Tozai Line bound for Nakano, then exit the train at Kudanshita Station and leave the station by Exit 3. At the top of the stairs, guests should walk straight ahead and turn left at the intersection, without crossing the street. The Hotel Grand Palace is on the left side of the street, two blocks from the station exit.
Guests should take the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line to Otemachi Station. At Otemachi Station, guests should transfer to the Metro Marunouchi Line and exit at Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, the JR Narita Express travels to the airport 38 times daily. The first train departs from Tokyo Station at 6:30 AM, the last at 8:03 PM.

Instructions: Taxis leave from outside the arrivals area on the first floor. Fixed fair taxis are provided by the Narita International Airport Taxi Council. At the designated fixed fare taxi stand, a concierge will direct travellers to the first available taxi. Guests should ask the driver to stop at the Hotel Grand Palace, near Kudanshita Station.

Important registration notice: The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare requires all international visitors to submit their passport number and nationality when registering at any lodging facility (inns, hotels, motels, etc.). Additionally, lodging proprietors are required to photocopy passports for all registering guests and keep the photocopy on file.
