The 14-story Akasaka Excel Hotel Tokyu contains 535 guestrooms. All provide city views, and include complimentary high-speed Internet access, cable/satellite TVs, and writing desks and chairs. Additionally, the hotel offers coin-operated computers with high-speed Internet access for guest use at a rate of JPY100 (US$0.85) per five minutes. Two computers are located in the third floor lobby area, and two more are in the first floor entrance. One computer on each floor has English-language software. Location Details

Tokyo International Airport Narita (NRT) Approximate travel time is 2 hours and distance is 62 km (38.8 miles).

Getting there: Travelers are advised to take the Airport Limousine Bus from the airport directly to the Akasaka Excel Hotel Tokyu. Alternatively, travelers may take the train from the airport station to Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, then walk across the street to the hotel. Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): The JR Narita Express travels from the airport train station to Tokyo Station 37 times daily. The first train departs from the airport at 7:42 AM, the last departs at 9:43 PM. From Tokyo Station, guests should transfer to the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line bound for Shinjuku, exiting the train at Akasaka-Mitsuke Station. After passing through the turnstile (the station has only one), travelers will see the escalator immediately to the left. At the top of the escalator, there is a left turn to exit the station. The Akasaka Excel Hotel Tokyu is across the street, with its lobby on the third floor of the Tokyu Plaza building.
Guests should take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line to Tokyo Station. From Tokyo Station, the JR Narita Express travels to the airport 38 times daily. The first train departs from Tokyo Station at 6:30 AM, the last departs at 8:03 PM.

Instructions: Taxis leave from outside the arrival area on the first floor. Fixed fare taxis are provided by the Narita International Airport Taxi Council. At the designated fixed fare taxi stand, a concierge will direct travelers to the first available cab. Guests should ask the driver to stop at the Akasaka Excel Hotel Tokyu, next to Akasaka-Mitsuke Station.

Dining

Zipang - 13th-floor restaurant serving sushi, tempura, Chinese cuisine, and a wide selection of sake and wine. Vast interior with seating at individual or large communal tables, counters, and semi-private rooms. Attached bar corner features live jazz performances on weekday nights, a large assortment of cigars, seating at counter or on red velvet sofas and armchairs. Open from evening to late night.

Akasaka Square Dining - Air lobby-level restaurant. Serves both Western and Japanese à la carte dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also offers breakfast and lunch buffets. Interior features wooden floors and walls, open kitchen abstract art, and potted plants.
