Both castles open at 9 AM; closing times vary between 6 PM and 8 PM, depending on the month.

Directions:
Both castles are located at Amboise. Amboise is situated 15 miles (25 km) from Tours and 6 miles (10 km) from Chenonceau.

Note:
Transportation to/from the castles in not included. The Leonardo da Vinci Park is open between April and November only. The Château d'Amboise and Château du Clos Lucé are both open all year, apart from Christmas Day and New Year's Day. The castles do not open until 10 AM during January. Château d'Amboise is located 400m from Château du Clos Lucé. Children younger than six years are admitted for free.
