Bike Rental & Ride: Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito/Tiburon

Photo provided by Blazing Saddles

Take a self-guided or guided bike tour through San Francisco and its scenic environs, riding from Presidio National Park, over Golden Gate Bridge, and along the coastline into Sausalito. Shop, sightsee, or dine before hopping a ferry* back across San Francisco Bay.

The Bay Area is famous for its first-rate cycling, and this route highlights some of the city's signature locations. The ride starts at Fisherman's Wharf, where you can decide between a trusty map or an experienced guide. Hope on the bike and follow your map or tour guide as you ride through Presidio National Park and across the world-famous Golden Gate Bridge. Stop for shopping and dining options in small but swanky Sausalito, or continue on to Tiburon. Take a side trip to see the Redwood trees. And, if your legs get tired, hop on a ferry* for a cruise back home across the bay. The guided tour ends in Sausalito and returns to the rental location via ferry. However, you may also choose to ride on to Tiburon and return to the rental location on your own.
