This tour explores some of Rome's most celebrated monuments and landmarks. See the Roman Aurelian walls and towers, via Veneto, the Spanish Steps, and Villa Borghese Park, and go to Piazza Quirinale to view Quirinale Palace, the President of Italy's residence. Then visit ancient Rome's best-preserved building, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona, with its majestic centrepiece, the Fountain of Four Rivers. Finish with a tour of the Basilica of St Peter, in the heart of the Vatican City.

When the Wednesday Papal Audience is held in St Peter's Square, the Basilica is closed to visitors. Hotel pick-up and drop-off is available for hotels located in central Rome only. The exact time of your hotel pick-up will depend on the location of your hotel and may be up to 45 minutes earlier than the scheduled departure time. Commentary is available in English, Italian, Spanish, French, and German.
