The tour begins at 2,000 feet (610 m) above sea level with a short safety orientation, and then the ride (95 percent of it downhill) begins! Go through ferny woodlands and flowering meadows that make it easy to understand why this area is called Jamaica's "garden parish." The tour stops at the Spicy Grove Tavern in Mount Zion for a break, and then it's on the road to the sea again. Along the way you'll see—in addition to marvelous views—a legendary mountain spring, the ruins of a 17th-century sugar factory, and polo fields. The ride finishes at a private cove whose serene pool is perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
