The lush Haleakala Ranch backcountry offers spectacular, panoramic views of the ocean and island below as you ride across the 4,000 ft (1,219 m) elevation on the slopes of the Haleakala Crater.

Explore Haleakala Ranch—the largest working cattle ranch on Maui—on horseback! As you ride among fragrant eucalyptus trees, your guide will tell stories of the Hawaiian paniolos (cowboys) who worked on this famous ranch and of the historic Chinese Walls found on the ranch’s 35,000 acres.

All riders must be between 10–64 years of age. There is a weight limit of 235 pounds (120kg). No pregnant riders, please.
