Admission to Kensington Palace
Peep behind the curtains of royal life at Kensington Palace, long-time home of Diana, Princess of Wales.
First home of Princess Diana and Prince Charles after their wedding, the Princess returned to Kensington Palace following their divorce in 1996 and lived here until her death a year later. The palace is swathed in memories of the late princess – from the Diana Memorial Playground in the gardens to the flower tributes at the wrought-iron gates on the south side of the grounds.
Kensington Palace’s Royal Ceremonial Dress Collection ranges from 18th-century gowns to some of Diana’ best-known evening outfits. While the State Apartments offer intimate insights into royal life with several family portraits.
