The river adventure begins after a scenic drive inland to the upper reaches of the Navua River, where experienced guides instruct participants in the art of paddling and on the use of the safety equipment. Then it's time to take to the river, where cascading water, exhilarating rapids, and tropical waterfalls are encased in lush greenery and black volcanic rock. Midway down the river, everyone stops for a picnic lunch and a swim.
