All aboard! Step onto the famous Kuranda Railway for a memorable train ride. Once in Kuranda, you can stroll through the markets and visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary.

Your ride over Stoney Creek and Barron Falls to the village of Kuranda is an unforgettable experience. Named after an aboriginal word meaning "village in a rainforest," Kuranda features a quaint market filled with stands offering local handicrafts. It's also the site of the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary, home to Australia’s largest butterfly collection. Continue your tour on the Kuranda Skyrail, voted Australia's best major tourist attraction in 1997.
