This informative walking tour explores the area that was the Third Reich's nerve centre. Street names have changed and many buildings have gone, but you will still discover the location of Hitler's Berlin headquarters and see exactly where the SS exercised their reign of terror from. Please note: This tour is in English only.

The hub of the Third Reich was located in one area of Berlin; an area best-covered in this walking tour. Your expert guide won't shirk from difficult issues, including how a seemingly complex, advanced society could have fallen under the Nazi spell. Learn how some resisted the regime's barbarity, as well as the effect the regime's enormous crimes had on post-war Germany.

In central Berlin, discover what is left of the "1000 year Reich": Goebbels' Propaganda Ministry, Goering's monumental Air Ministry, and the remains of Himmler's SS and Secret Police (the Gestapo) headquarters. Continue on to the site of Hitler's command centre, the enormous New Reichschancellery, before finishing at the spot of the bunker where he spent the last six weeks of his life. Using the latest historical research, your guide will strip away the myth surrounding Hitler's suicide and place it in the context of the Battle of Berlin.
