This comprehensive walking tour brings Berlin to life. A gentle, four-hour walk allows your guide to unfold the history of Berlin as you discover the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, and the site of Hitler's bunker, plus so much more. Please note: This tour is in English only.

Stroll through the historic centre and absorb the superb panorama over the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and Berlin University, where Albert Einstein once worked. Frequent stops allow you to take photographs and soak up the atmosphere; your guide will also describe what you're seeing and answer questions.

Cross the square where the infamous book-burning was staged by the Nazis in 1933, and experience the extraordinary new Holocaust Memorial before tracing the course of the Berlin Wall. Your tour finishes in one of Europe's most attractive squares, Gendarmenmarkt, located close to Checkpoint Charlie.

    Note:
    Commentary is in English only. Afternoon tours (2:30 PM and 3 PM) operate April–October only. If you join the tour at the West meeting point, you must purchase a public transport ticket. These can be purchased from your guide. You do not require a public transport ticket if you join the tour at the East meeting point. This tour does not operate on Christmas Day or New Year's Day. Tours operate in all weather. Children younger than 12 participate for free.

After booking your tour—3 easy steps:
1. Print your voucher; locate the voucher in your travel confirmation e-mail or in the My Trips/My Itineraries link on the site.
2. Take all vouchers with you.
3. Follow the instructions on your voucher; you must exchange one voucher per person.

How to exchange your voucher(s):
On the day you wish to take this tour, please present your signed voucher(s) at either the West meeting point (the taxi stand outside Zoo Station) or the East meeting point (outside Haagen-Dazs in Hackescher Markt). Your guide will collect your voucher(s) before the tour departs.
