Scenic Wilderness Oar Raft Tour

Take a "mild water" but extremely scenic rafting adventure along the boundary of Denali National Park. A professional guide does all the work, allowing you to relax and enjoy the ride. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the occasional grizzly bear or caribou!

Eleven miles of class II and easy class III waters make this the perfect rafting trip for anyone wanting a more laidback experience or for families with younger children. A professional guide navigates the raft from McKinley Village to the park entrance near Riley Creek, providing information on the natural history of the area along the way. Your only responsibility is to revel in the astounding landscape going by—and to watch for the Dall sheep, moose, caribou, eagles, grizzly bears, and other wildlife that may appear along the shore.
