Your first stop is the Aalsmeer auction; the centre of international flower trade. Thousands of flower-laden carts trundle past prospective buyers and transform the auction hall into a vivid, multi-coloured collage.

Take a look at some of the experimental architecture in Rotterdam, then continue on to Delft to tour a factory producing the famous blue and white designs of Delft Blue pottery. You'll then visit the Hague, passing landmarks such as the Houses of Parliament and the Peace Palace before making your way to the miniature town of Madurodam; the whole of the Netherlands at a scale of 1/25th. On your return to Amsterdam, catch a glimpse of the long sandy beach at Scheveningen, a picturesque seaside town.
