Your day begins cruising through the beautiful Whitsunday Islands and on to Hardy Reef—44 miles (70 km) from the Whitsunday Coast—right in the heart of the coral. Anchored in a channel between two massive reefs, Reefworld is one of the largest floating facilities on the Great Barrier Reef and an ideal spot for discovering the living color and beauty just below the water’s surface.

Snorkel around the reef with access to all necessary equipment. Or stay dry aboard a spacious semi-submersible and gaze into the surrounding reef wall. Hear fascinating facts and informative commentary delivered by experienced Reef Interpreters and visit the comfortable underwater viewing chamber. Other facilities include a large sundeck with a panorama of the surrounding reef systems; a tailor-made viewing area on deck to see the massive Queensland grouper fish living beneath the platform; and plenty of shaded areas. So the adults can get a little R&R, Club Seahorse is Fantasea’s free children’s club that keeps youthful patrons entertained all day. The club includes child care, face-painting, activity books, competitions, board games, storytelling, and children’s movies.
