The spa has a philosophy of helping patients re-connect with nature to help balance mind, body, and soul. It offers a range of Eastern- and Western-style treatments emphasizing body massage, and exfoliating body scrubs using natural ingredients such as sea salt, mineral mud, honey, and sesame seeds.

This package consists of a steam bath for 30 minutes, followed by a 90-minute white clay mud body treatment, and finishing with an Oriental body massage using acupressure techniques.

The mineral-rich water from the hot springs is used for all spa treatments, including natural ingredients such as local flowers, coconut, lime, honey, sesame seed, and sea salt.

Rooms

The Hotspring Beach Resort and Spa has 75 guestrooms. Floor-to-ceiling balcony doors allow maximum light, and teak furnishings dominate the guestrooms setting the tone for a warm and airy ambience. The sea view guestrooms have duvet covers with silk-upholstered headboards, and a turndown service is offered every evening. Complimentary bottled water and coffee/tea sachets are provided. Duplex guestrooms feature teak wood staircases to the mezzanine floors outfitted with separate bathrooms and TVs. Satellite channels include programs in English, French, German, and Russian.

Recreation

Framed by a canopy of palm trees, frangipanis, and floral plants, the freeform pool provides a cooling respite, while two natural hot spring pavilions with water jets maintain a 45ËšC (113F) water temperature all year round. A complimentary shuttle service takes guests to another beach one km (0.6 miles) away where umbrellas, sun lounges, snorkeling gear, and kayaks are complimentary. Other recreation options include volleyball, snooker, and cycling. Overlooking the landscape gardens and water canal, the fitness center consists of treadmills, stationary bikes, a weight machine, and free weights.

The Blue Canyon Country Club championship course is 35 km (22 miles) away, and features challenging holes with undulating hills and scenic natural canyons. Nonmembers are welcome under certain conditions. Local tour operators can arrange for island hopping, fishing, and scuba diving trips.

Property Amenities

The focal point of Hotspring Beach Resort and Spa is the 40-year old natural hot spring mineral water pools. Encircled by lush tropical gardens, the pavilion hot spring with water jets remains at 45ËšC (113F) all year round. The resort also features a landscaped reflective pool framed by palms trees, floral plants, and manicured lawns beyond. In addition to its secluded beach front, the resort provides complimentary shuttle to another beach 1 km (0.6 miles) away popular for kayaking and snorkeling. A full-service health spa is available. Complimentary amenities include a library with two dial-up Internet workstations, and a snooker table and facilities. Bicycles are available for rental.

Enclosed by French windows with views of the garden, the Hotspring Ballroom covers a floor area of 205 square meters (2,200 square feet). The ballroom can accommodate up to 120 guests for banquets and 80 guests for board meetings.

Phuket International Airport (HKT): Approximate travel time is 35 minutes and distance is 30 km (25 miles).

Getting there: For hotel shuttle, an airport representative will pick guests up after the baggage claim area. Several taxi booths are readily available. Car rentals are not recommended for travelers unfamiliar with this area. Click the links below for instructions/details.

Instructions: Taxi stands are located outside the Arrivals terminal, in the car park. The metered taxis have a taxi stand. Guests should provide the taxi driver with the name of the hotel; taxis are familiar with the location.

Approximate cost (subject to change without notice): Hotel shuttle costs THB500 (US$5–$15)) per person per way. For more than two guests, a mini van can be hired for THB1,000 (US$16–$25); maximum six passengers.

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Hotel shuttle service is available 24 hours daily. However, guests must contact the hotel at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to give the staff an estimated time of arrival. A complimentary buffet breakfast is provided each morning.

Patcharin Restaurant - Offers views of the lush tropical garden pool; meals are served in air-conditioned comfort or alfresco. Teak wood furniture and Thai décor. Buffet breakfast includes cold cuts, cereals, Thai dishes, and cook-to-order eggs. Serves à la carte Thai and Western dishes for lunch, and open for dinners on Wednesdays and Thursdays only.

Sala Thai Restaurant - Thai teak pavilion next to the beach with wooden decks and open terrace. Emphasizes local ingredients, Thai cuisine, and grilled seafood. Bar available for evening drinks. Open for dinner only; closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Pool Bar - Swimup bar, and poolside tables available for drinks and snacks.
