Rooms

The resort offers 94 guestrooms in three two-story buildings with exterior corridors (no elevators). Air-conditioned rooms provide satellite TVs as well as balconies or patios and water views (Tampa Bay, the marina, or calm waters in the mangrove preserves). Some rooms feature full kitchens with dishwashers and stoves. Full housekeeping is provided every third day of each guest’s stay, and light housekeeping is offered on other days. All rooms are smoke-free.

Recreation

The property includes a half-mile of private beach, and three deep-water marinas with 133 slips and a full-time harbormaster. There are also two outdoor pools on site along with a tennis complex that has five courts. The fitness center has mirrored walls and rubber flooring, and provides exercise equipment and free weights. Other recreational options include a children’s playground, and basketball and volleyball courts.

Sea birds can be viewed from the crescent-shaped beach and more wildlife-viewing opportunities are provided in the mangrove-edged backwater byways that can be accessed with canoes and kayaks (kayak rentals are available). Tee times can be reserved at the championship golf course at Cedar Creek. Fishing is offered from the resort’s private pier, and deep-sea fishing excursions are also available (surcharge). Among the local catches are trout, redfish, grouper, king mackerel, and tarpon.

Located on the south shore of Tampa Bay, The Resort & Club at Little Harbor sits on 124 acres between Tampa and Sarasota. The property has a half-mile private beach, three deep-water marinas with 133 slips, and a tennis complex with five courts.

There are also two outdoor pools, a spa tub, and a fitness center. Kayak rentals are available, and tee times can be reserved at the championship golf course at Cedar Creek.

Dining is available in waterfront and dockside restaurants. Fishers can take advantage of the private fishing pier or participate in deep-sea fishing excursions (surcharge). A children’s playground, and basketball and volleyball courts are on site. More than 3,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space can accommodate up to 300 people. Parking is complimentary.

Sunset Grill - Regional cuisine is offered at this waterfront restaurant, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Buffets with daily specials are offered along with an à la carte menu.

Sunset Lounge - Adjacent to Tropics, this lounge with water views has a wide-screen TV and offers cocktails and other beverages. Open from late morning to night.
