InterContinental Resort Tahiti features 173 rooms in a main building, each one offering garden, lagoon, or ocean views. For complete privacy, there are 32 traditional, over-water bungalows with reed roofs.
Decor is simple but elegant, tropical style with bamboo and rattan furniture and wooden floors. Guestrooms and bungalows have private terraces with furniture. Windows open; accommodations have ceiling fans to stir the tropical breezes. For hotter weather, accommodations are equipped with air conditioners.

Boating options include pedal boats, motorized canoes, reef pontoons, coral viewing by glass-bottom boat, dolphin cruises via catamaran, sunset cruises, lunch and snorkeling excursions, and yacht charters for deep sea fishing. Land activities include badminton, ping pong, and tennis on two lighted courts. Basket weaving, pareu demonstration and painting, and Tahitian quilt sewing classes are also offered. Property Amenities
InterContinental Resort Tahiti spans 30 acres on the west coast of Tahiti. Grounds include a private beach and a lagoon that face the Island of Moorea, across the Sea of Moons.
The resort offers two freshwater pools, as well as equipment rentals for diving, boating, and other beach activities. Guests can also sign up for basket weaving, pareu demonstration and painting, or Tahitian quilt-sewing classes.
In the evenings, performances of Polynesian dance and music are featured at Te Tiare Restaurant.

Fees
Occupancy maximum is three adults or two adults and two children per room. Extra-person charges are XPF 7,000.
Occupancy tax is five percent tourist tax, two percent service charge, and 150 XPF city tax. Minimum stay: one night.
Dining
Te Tiare- This outdoor amphitheatre-shaped restaurant has three levels with lagoon views. Tahitian dance shows are performed in the evenings, at the water’s edge. Menu includes light snacks, salads, fresh fish, and meat from New Zealand. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Le Lotus - This secluded over-water restaurant offers lunch, dinner à la carte, and drinks at a swim-up bar. Serving gourmet dishes and tasting menus selected by the chef. Featured dishes include La Palette du Lotus with Mi-cuit of Foie Gras and Swordfish with Avocado Gaspacho and Polynesian Shell Tartare.
Tiki Bar - Locals and visitors gather for tropical drinks and live sunset entertainment. Featuring carved Polynesian tiki posts and a traditional pandanus roof.
Bar Le Lotus - Swim-up bar alongside the sand-bottomed pool. Serving beer, tropical cocktails, freshly squeezed island fruit juices, and beer. Adjoining bar for those who prefer to stay dry.
