Driving directions from Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD): On leaving the airport, head for General Holmes Drive and then Southern Cross Drive. After approximately 6 km, this becomes Dowling Street (at Kensington). Take the Eastern Distributor Motorway (an underground tunnel) and after approximately 2.7 km, take the Kings Cross/Surry Hills exit onto William Street (a toll payable in AUD$4.50 will be due here in cash). Turn left into William Street and travel approximately 500 metres, when William Street meets College Street. Turn left here (the Australian Museum will be on the left and Hyde Park south will be on the right). Travel through one set of lights just past the museum and Sydney Grammar School, then past the Marriott Hotel on the left. Cross over the traffic lights at Whitlam Square (on Oxford Street). The hotel is on the right on Wentworth Avenue (corner of Goulburn Street). Turn right at the traffic lights at Goulburn Street and proceed to the Wilson Parking Station 1 block away on the corner of Goulburn and Elizabeth streets. Collect the parking ticket and ensure that it is presented at the hotel reception where it will be validated for a discount price.
