Renovation Notice

The hotel's lobby will be under renovation 24 September until 16 November, 2007. Work will be done between 9 AM and 4 PM Monday to Saturday. The hotel will continue to operate during the renovation period. Every effort will be made to ensure minimal disruption and inconvenience to guests during this period.

Recreation

The Bayview Boulevard has a fitness centre on the 24th floor with treadmills, bikes, weights, a sauna, and a spa tub. The view from the fitness centre is of the city.

Jogging/walking tracks can be found in the Domain and Royal Botanic Gardens (1.5 km), while Hyde Park (500 metres) is also suitable for walking. City Gym (200 metres) operates aerobics, Pilates, and yoga classes. The Cook and Phillip Aquatic Centre (2 km) has an eight-lane 50-metre swimming pool, a children’s play area, a leisure pool with wave machine and rapid river run, plus basketball and tennis courts. The closest golf course is Moore Park (5 km). Bicycles and horses can be hired at Centennial Park (4 km). Driving directions from SYD: From Kingsford Smith Airport, turn right onto General Holmes Drive and follow the posted signs to the city along Southern Cross Drive. This will link with the Eastern Distributor. (The Eastern Distributor is a toll road, which means that the car will need to be fitted with an electronic tag, or drivers will need $4–$5, preferably in change). Proceed through the tunnel to the City/Kings Cross Exit. Cross William St and turn left onto Robinson St. The entrance to the parking lot is directly behind the hotel.
