Rooms

The Russell Hotel has 29 guestrooms on three storeys. Access to the guestrooms is by narrow staircase only. Guestrooms are individually decorated with antique beds, pine dressers, and marble washstands to reflect the building’s 1880s heritage. All have TVs, coffee/tea makers, hair dryers, and bathrobes.

Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Trains depart the airport approximately every 15 minutes. The domestic rail station is located directly between T2 and T3 Terminals and is accessible via the arrivals level. The international rail station is located at the northern end of the terminal and is accessible from the arrivals level. Circular Quay Station is about 200 metres from the hotel.

Driving directions from Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD): From Kingsford Smith Airport, turn right into General Holmes Drive and follow the posted signs to the city along Southern Cross Drive. Turn left into Flinders Street, then turn left into Oxford Street. Continue until taking a left turn into Liverpool Street, then turn right into George Street. The hotel is located on the left just past the Cahill Expressway underpass.
