Healing Secrets - Australian Bush Medicine (90 minutes):
This all-natural, indigenous treatment employs the curative and restorative properties found in Australian native plants and produce. A focusing ritual to harmonise therapist and guest is followed by a full body brushing with tea tree oil. Next, a Blue Gum honey and crushed sesame seed scrub exfoliates and moisturises. While this is processing, a lime blossom, honey, and cucumber facial refines and hydrates. A rejuvenating shower is followed by a back and shoulder treatment. Heated poultices of eucalyptus, tea tree, lemon myrtle, and lavender are applied in a rhythmic press and roll motion to soothe aching muscles, while a massage of peppermint and macadamia nut oil assists detoxification. Getting there: The best way to get to the hotel from the airport is via taxi ($20-30; fares vary depending on time of day) or rental car. Rental cars are available online. Getting around: Car rentals are a good option for visiting outer suburbs or for excursions in New South Wales. However, traffic restrictions, limited parking, and congestion can make in-city driving a bit challenging. Many other transportation options include a reliable public bus system. The minimum fare is $1.00 US for adults and 45 cents for children; 4 km section).
Additionally, Sydney Explorer Buses operate daily, travelling an 18-mile course and stopping at 26 different attractions (Sydney Opera House, Royal Botanic Gardens, State Library, etc.). Buses depart from Circular Quay from 8:40 AM with the last round-trip run departing at 5:20 PM. Tickets are $20 US for adults and $9.75 US for children.
