Approximate travel time: 20–40 minutes, depending on the time of day.

Driving directions from SYD: Rental cars are available online. From the airport, ask the rental-car attendant for a good map and clear directions to get to the central business district.

If travelling by private car, feed into Erskine Street, either via Kent, Clarence, or York streets, and then turn left into Sussex. The hotel is just a short distance down the right hand side of the road. Please note that Sussex Street is one way (travelling south, away from the Harbour Bridge). The hotel is located in the block south from King Street and drivers will need to feed into Sussex Street via a street north of King Street such as Erskine Street (as King Street is one way, travelling east from Sussex).

Please also note that tolls (to be paid in local currency) may apply, depending on the route taken.

Instructions: A taxi queue awaits a short distance from the airport arrivals area. Please inform the taxi driver that the hotel is located on Sussex Street in the CBD between King and Market streets.

Approximate train cost (subject to change without notice): A single one-way ticket costs approximately AU$12–$15 per person (prices are subject to change without notice).

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Train stations are located at both the international and domestic airport terminals, with trains operating every 10–15 minutes. The closest train station is Town Hall, on the City Circle line, located 5 blocks from the hotel. The walk is thankfully downhill and is best suited to those with a small amount of luggage.

Schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): Shuttle services to the Central Business District and a number of city hotels run regularly throughout the day and evening. They can easily be arranged on arrival at both the domestic and international terminals. Guests should proceed to the Information Desk on the arrivals level and ask for assistance. The hotel concierge can organise a shuttle-bus transfer from the hotel to the airport for a cost of AU$10 per person (guests must book at least one day in advance, or earlier, if possible).


Dining

Corn Exchange Restaurant - Serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week. Al fresco dining available on a wide terrace overlooking Darling Harbour. Contemporary ŕ la carte and buffet cuisine.

Dundee Arms Pub – Sandstone pub dating back to the 1850s has been sensitively incorporated into the hotel complex. Variety of pub counter meals plus a wide range of local and imported beers. Aussie barbeque option available during the summer months. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Open for lunch and dinner Monday–Friday and late afternoon until late on Saturday. Closed Sunday.

The Lobby Bar – Relaxed venue for coffee, snacks, and drinks. Open daily from late morning until late.
