Recreation
A 12-metre outdoor heated pool with spa tub and relaxation deck is located on the ground floor. The hotel also offers guests complimentary use of a nearby fitness centre (within 1 km) which holds regular classes and offers a floor of weights and equipment. Guests wishing to take advantage of this arrangement should collect a pass at reception.
Approximately 1.5 km from the hotel is the expansive Parramatta Park, one of the largest recreational area’s in Sydney’s west. The park incorporates 10 hectares of remnant Cumberland Plain vegetation, and provides a habitat for native wildlife and birdlife. More than 120 bird species have been recorded. The Park attracts families, tour groups, and individuals who wish to picnic, ride bicycles, rollerblade, walk, jog, and play sports such as cricket and football.

The six-storey Courtyard by Marriott Parramatta is located in the city of Parramatta’s central business district, parallel to the main thoroughfare, Church Street. The train station is just 0.5 km away, with very frequent services operating into central Sydney and throughout the suburban network. In addition, the ferry operates regularly from Queens Wharf Park (approximately 1 km from the hotel) into Sydney’s CBD (Circular Quay) via Sydney Olympic Park. Within a 0.5 km–1 km range are numerous offices, a major shopping complex, restaurants, bars, cafes, and movie theatres. A range of business services are available on site including both high-speed and wireless Internet access, fax transmission, photocopying, and postal/courier handling. A full buffet breakfast is served daily, and the hotel restaurant and bar open in the late afternoon from Monday–Thursday inclusive. A complimentary coffee/tea station is set up at the bar each morning for guests and room service is on offer during Monday-Thursday evenings. Driving directions from Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD): On leaving the airport, head for General Holmes Drive and then Southern Cross Drive. After approximately 4.5 km, this becomes Dowling Street (at Kensington). This feeds into the Eastern Distributor Motorway at Kensington, and after approximately 2.5 km, take the Cross City Tunnel (for approximately 2 km) and then the Western Distributor Freeway (for 2.6 km). Head for the City West Link at Rozelle and then Dobroyd Parade at Haberfield. This becomes Wattle Street. After approximately 600 metres, turn right into Parramatta Road, Ashfield. Continue for 3.5 km and bear right at the Western Motorway at Strathfield. After 7.7 km, take the exit onto James Ruse Drive and turn right into Parramatta Road at Granville. After almost 1.5 km, turn right into Church Street, right into Marion Street, and then left into Anderson Street. Tolls may apply on freeways/motorways. In most cases they are collected by e-tag only. Please note that if the vehicle does not have an e-tag (for automatic toll payment) fitted, drivers may pay the toll applicable via credit card on the phone immediately following their trip. Simply take note of the toll signage which highlights a contact phone number for payment (when passing through toll booths) and ensure that payment is made within 24 hours to avoid fines.
