Renovation Notice
The Travelodge Wynyard will be renovating its gymnasium and laundry at the end of March 2007. Guests are also advised that there is a small construction site adjacent to the hotel with building to be finalised by December 2007. Every effort will be made to minimise disruption to Travelodge Wynyard guests.
The hotel will be under renovation 17 September – 24 November, 2007. The refurbishment work will include building an awning/porch for the hotel entrance and upgrading the facade of the hotel from ground floor to level four. Studio and Courtyard rooms will be affected and will not be available during the affected period. Scaffolding covering levels 1 – 4 will obstruct views. Guest should note that there may be some noise disturbance resulting from drilling. The hotel will make every effort to keep disruptions to a minimum.
Recreation
The Travelodge Wynyard offers guests use of the hotel gymnasium which is equipped with cross-trainers, weights and fit balls. Please note that the gymnasium is undergoing renovation from the end of June 2007.

Driving directions from Sydney International Airport (SYD): Guests should obtain maps and directions from the car rental company. The following however is a short guide: Exit the airport via Airport Drive. This continues as Marsh Street. Take the South Western Motorway (M5) onto General Holmes Drive, and then the Eastern Distributor (toll applies). Then proceed along the Cahill Expressway taking the Macquarie Street exit. Turn right into Hunter Street, then right into George Street. Take a left turn into Jamieson Street, then left into York Street. The Travelodge Wynyard is on the corner or York and Margaret Streets, Sydney.
