Location Details
Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD): Approximate travel time is 20–40 minutes and distance is 7.5 km.
Getting there: The Airport Link train is a convenient way to reach Central Station, which is three blocks from the hotel. Trains operate approximately every 10 minutes and the journey into the city takes approximately 20 minutes. The international and domestic rail stations link directly to the City Circle line, which means most city destinations are within a short walk of stations. Each terminal has its own sheltered taxi rank with supervisors on hand in peak hours to ensure a smooth flow of taxis for travellers. Car rentals are available online. Click the links below for instructions/details.
Getting around: Because city parking is expensive, taxis, buses, trains, and ferries offer the most efficient and economical modes of transportation. The city’s integrated public transportation system allows users to purchase one ticket for multiple transportation options (such as a train ticket to Bondi Junction, plus a bus ticket to Bondi Beach). Fees range by mode of transportation, but few are more than AU $10 per trip. An inner-city monorail is also available for AU $4. The Light Rail system, which operates to Darling Harbour and Star City Casino, is within 100 metres of the hotel. Three blocks away is Central Station, which offers trains to destinations throughout Sydney’s central business district and beyond.
