Hotel Information: Guests enter the contemporary lobby of the Royal Viking via revolving doors, passing under innovative lighting features reminiscent of a Viking longboat. A translucent, underlit floor section lies beneath a circular hole in the ceiling, through which a curved staircase connects to a seven-storey mezzanine atrium. Business guests hold meetings on sofas, while tourists seek advice at the concierge desk.
Amenity highlights: An illuminated glass ‘river’ threads its way though the hotel’s restaurant, which specialises in locally caught fish and shellfish, while the SkyBar offers cocktails and top-floor views of the islands of Gamla Stan and Södermalm. Fees

- A Super Breakfast Buffet is available daily for 125 SEK per person. Children under 11 years eat free of charge, and children between 11 and 17 years old are charged 60 SEK for breakfast.

Dining
Stockholm Fisk - Contemporary fish restaurant characterised by light-wood tables, blue, green and taupe seating, bare floorboards and carpeted areas with marine patterns. An illuminated glass ‘river’ meanders through the dining room floor, between opaque, free-standing glass panels, colourful stained-glass wall decorations, and indoor water features. Large windows provide street views. A la carte and table d’hote pre-theatre menus offer a constantly changing selection of dishes such as Anchovy Cheesecake with Salmon Roe and Pickled Red Onions, and Fresh Fillet of Salmon with Truffle Potato Puree and Crayfish Sauce. Open for lunch and dinner.
SkyBar - Ultra-modern bar decorated in striking red and black, situated on the ninth floor, with direct elevator access from the lobby. Features a bright-red vinyl bar area, high tables with black leather stools, and red banquettes with round wooden tables. Overlooks Central Station and Vasagatan, and boasts panoramic views of Gamla Stan, Södermalm, Stadshuset and across to the Globe Stadium. Open until late. Closed on Sunday.
Lobby Bar - Street-level lounge area adjoining the restaurant, with a curving central bar, modern art prints, wooden floors and contemporary black furnishings. Serves drinks, coffee, wine, and bar food such as nachos, ribs, wraps and chicken wings. Open until late.
Mezzanine Breakfast Room - Large, bright dining area sited at the foot of a seven-storey atrium, centred on a buffet bar sheltered under a copper and glass pagoda. Oriental-themed decor with blonde-wood tables, caramel wooden seating and red carpets with Japanese motifs. Serves hot and cold buffet breakfast every morning, with a Japanese buffet consisting of miso soup, tofu, rice, and green tea.
