The resort has a 3,668-foot vertical drop and 2,939 skiable acres with 142 trails: 13 percent beginner, 56 percent intermediate, and 31 percent advanced. They are accessible by 25 lifts, including a gondola and four high-speed quads.
The average snowfall in Steamboat Springs is 337 inches. An average of 95 inches of champagne powder falls in January, thanks to the resort’s location on the windward side of the Park Range, right before the Continental Divide.
