Steamboat Springs offers a variety of unique seasonal recreational opportunities. In winter, guests choose from night-time ski jumping and snow tubing, ice climbing, sleigh rides, dog sledding, ice fishing, and classes on winter ice driving. Summer activities include four-wheel drive tours, hot-air balloon rides, miniature golf, river rafting, llama treks, gondola rides, guided nature walks, and cattle drives.
The condominiums are located in Steamboat’s Mountain Village, adjacent to Ski Time Square and 75 yards from the Christie Lift. The resort is topped by 10,568-foot Mt. Werner, and has a 3,668-foot vertical drop and 2,939 skiable acres with 142 trails: 13 percent beginner, 56 percent intermediate, and 31 percent advanced. They are accessible by 25 lifts, including a gondola and four high-speed quads.
The average snowfall is 337 inches (in January, an average of 95 inches is champagne powder) thanks to the resort’s location on the windward side of the Park Range, right before the Continental Divide.
