Hotel Information: Guests drive into a pavestone parking lot on tropically landscaped grounds and pass between colorful, balcony-topped towers into the resort’s lobby. An inner courtyard with meandering paths and park benches has a central fountain and numerous waterfalls. Fronting the beach is a boardwalk and the Sunset Beach Bar; a walkway traverses a swath of foliage down to the sands below.
Amenity highlights: The resort has a large freeform pool with spa tub and sundeck. A separate gated children’s pool has fountains and a spa tub for parents to relax in while keeping watch. Decorated in Tommy Bahama-style rich wood furnishings, all suites have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, private balconies, full kitchens, dining areas, and living rooms. Sunset Vistas Beachfront Suites has a large outdoor pool with sundeck and spa tub, as well as a children’s pool with fountains. A 24-hour fitness room with two flat-screen TVs, cardio machines, and strength training equipment is also on site.
Within a half mile, John’s Pass Village and Boardwalk offers numerous outfitters for parasailing, personal watercraft, fishing charters, cruises, and power boats. The village also has numerous seafood eateries and beach shops.
The Treasure Bay Golf and Tennis Center, owned and operated by the city of Treasure Island, is less than two miles away. It offers a 9-hole par-3 golf course, eight clay tennis courts, and two hard courts.
