Mount Nelson Hotel
Grand pillars named after The Prince of Wales in 1925 mark the entrance to the hotel, where a uniformed guard salutes arriving vehicles; a palm-tree lined avenue leads to the hotel lobby where affluent guests are welcomed beneath the high pressed ceilings and glass chandeliers. The airy atrium filled with colourful flower pots opens onto the patio overlooking Lord Kitchener’s fountain.
The Commodore
Tall glass doors lead to The Commodore’s spacious lobby with wood flooring and a centrepiece bouquet of fresh flowers. The adjacent lounge area features nautical-themed decor, a fireplace and high ceilings with wooden beams. Separate reception and concierge desks in the lobby provide a range of services to guests.
