The Fortina Hotel, Sliema, features 190 air-conditioned guestrooms spread over seven floors and decorated in shades of cream and blue with maple wood furnishings. Private balconies overlook the hotel’s tropical gardens, or Valetta’s city walls and the sea. Recreation

Guests can take a stroll through the tropical gardens, play mini-golf on the hotel putting green or enjoy a game of giant draughts. The spa centre offers both pilates and yoga classes for individual or group sessions (surcharge applies). The hotel invites guests to enjoy a free introductory diving class at its diving centre (25 kilometres away) and offers wide range of courses for beginners or more advanced divers (surcharge applies), as well as equipment rental. The hotel also offers boat trips to the island of Comino (May to October only), and harbour cruises all year round

Property Amenities

Set in tropical gardens, the two indoor and two outdoor pools offer a complimentary sun lounger and towel service as well as a spa tub; two of the saltwater swimming pools are situated right on the water’s edge with views of Valletta, and one has a swim-up bar. There is also a pool and spa tub for children. Fortina Hotel's onsite Spa Centre offers myriad treatments and therapies including thalassotherapy, Thai and Chinese massage, Cleopatra milk baths, Turkish mud baths, light therapy, wraps and scrubs (surcharges apply).

Those feeling active can head to the fitness centre which offers gym equipment, aerobics classes and an indoor heated pool and spa tub. La Vallette - Main self-service buffet restaurant situated on the lower ground floor with panoramic view of Malta’s capital, offering a variety of dishes with vegetarian options available.

CanThai - Chinese and Thai cuisine served à la carte in an Oriental decor restaurant. Vegetarian options offered. Open daily (excluding Wednesday) for lunch and dinner. House wine included in the All-Inclusive package, all other wine is available for a surcharge.

Tigne Brasserie - Informal à la carte restaurant overlooking Valetta’s bastion walls across the water. Serves a choice of French and Mediterranean dishes. Vegetarian options offered. Open daily for dinner (excluding Thursdays). House wine included in the All-Inclusive package, all other wine is available for a surcharge.

Il Giardino - Italian pizzeria serving traditional antipasti and pizzas. Open daily for lunch and dinner (except Tuesdays).

Sa Re Ga Ma - Authentic Indian cuisine from 30 different regions is served in this Indian-themed restaurant. Open daily for lunch and dinner (except Mondays).

Cocktail Bar - Situated indoors next to the lido with views of Valetta. Open daily until midnight. Evening entertainment and dancing. All drinks are included in the all-inclusive package.

Dine Around Upgrade Package includes a choice of the additional four restaurants offering daily menus, besides the buffet restaurant.
