Renovation Notice
The hotel will be under renovation from 10 December, 2007 to May, 2008. Affected areas will include 287 guestrooms, the Swiss Executive Lounge, and gymnasium. Renovation work will be done in phases and guestrooms on affected floors will be closed with designated buffer floors to reduce noise pollution. Work will be done between 10 AM to 6 PM daily. The hotel will make every effort to minimize disturbance and inconvenience to guests.

Singapore Changi International Airport (SIN): Approximate travel time is 25 minutes and distance is 22 km (14 miles).
Getting there: Taxis are the fastest and most convenient way to reach the hotel. Those traveling light can take the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) train system located in Terminal Two of the airport. Instructions: Taxi stands are located outside baggage claim at Terminals One and Two. Guests should ask the taxi driver to take the East Coast Parkway and exit at Rochor Road. From there, turn left onto North Bridge Road, which later becomes South Bridge Road. Next, turn right onto Cross Street and right again onto Eu Tong Sen Street. Finally, turn left onto Tew Chew Street. The Clarke Quay MRT station will be on the right and the hotel on the left.

Train schedules and directions (subject to change without notice): The first train departs from Changi Airport Station at 5:30 AM, and the last departs at midnight. Guests should board the train at Changi Airport Station (CG2) bound for Tanah Merah (EW4) interchange station. Continue on the East West green line and exit at Outram Park (EW16/NE3) interchange station, switch to the North East Line (NEL). Board the train bound for Clarke Quay. (NE5). After alighting at Clarke Quay station, guests should look for a small street called Tew Chew Street. Swissotel Merchant Court is just across this street.
