Renovation Notice

Grand Hyatt Singapore has begun a multi-million dollar renovation of the fitness centre, spa, and swimming pool. During this period, the poolside restaurant, tennis courts, and badminton hall will be closed. Alternative venues for massage treatments and a fitness studio are available for in-house guests. The renovation will be completed in the third quarter of 2008.

Recreation

The health club and spa centre, Club Oasis, covers an area of 243 square meters (2,600 square feet). The fitness centre features arched ceilings with floor-to-ceiling French windows overlooking the landscaped garden. Exercise machines include treadmills, stair machines, and stationary bikes, and cross trainer (elliptical) machines with LCD screens. Personal training is available (surcharge).

Guests can practice their golf swings at the eight-metre driving net, or have a game of table tennis (surcharge). The 90-square-metre (1,000-square-foot) aerobic studio offers complimentary aerobic, yoga, Pilates, and Tai Chi classes.

The Retreat spa offers five indoor treatment rooms and a spa menu comprising a variety of treatments.

A jogging map is provided and details two routes. Guests can take the five-km (three-mile) route past Orchard Road to the Botanic Gardens, or the ten-km (six-mile) route that passes the residential areas of Scotts, Bukit Timah, and Farrer Road.
