The Wellness Spa at the Shanghai JC Mandarin merges both Eastern and Western techniques and philosophies from Europe, France, and Spain. The spa uses 100% pure mineral water, essential oils, and herbs for all treatments. The spa rooms are all in a European setting, providing a tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. A variety of spa packages are available to cater for individual needs.

The Wellness Spa aims to provide each guest with a personalised journey to wellness, focusing on the senses of sight, smell, touch, and sound.

Swedish Body Massage (60 minutes): RMB580 (US$75)
This classic, traditional massage helps to relieve muscle stiffness and exhaustion, stimulates the skin and the nervous system, and creates a feeling of relaxation.

SPA Sensation Collagen Facial Treatment (1 hour, 30 minutes): RMB1,100 (US$141)
SPA sensation integrates a silky-soft facial care for moisture-deficient skin, supported by pure collagen and other ingredients. Provides the skin with strength, beauty, and a deep feeling of well-being.

Anti-Wrinkle Eye Care Treatment (40 minutes): RMB550 (US$71)
Precious herbal extracts, essential vitamins, and high quality minerals in concentrated form are used to repair the collagen and elastic tissue around the eyes. Assists to diminish dark circles and fine lines.

Salt Scrub Aromatherapy (60 minutes): RMB420 (US$54)
Refreshingly aromatic oils and a highly effective salt scrub massage stimulate the blood circulation, vitalises the skin metabolism, and firms the body.

‘Wellness SPA’ Special Flame Therapy (60 minutes): RMB680 (US$87)
The ‘Wellness SPA’ is a unique therapy offering which uses the herbal extract, ‘dragon vine’ from Tibet, which is soaked into ‘Long Ye’ (special fluid) to burn on top of the body. It absorbs the humidity of body and opens the channels of the lymphatic system.

The Shanghai JC Mandarin’s guestrooms are all in Western style décor and feature warm sandstone colours. All guestrooms have views of the city and bustling Nanjing Road. Located in the central business district and within the Jing An Financial Trade zone, the hotel is on Nanjing Road and is across from the famous Plaza 66 shopping centre. The metro/subway is 100 metres (110 yards) from the hotel, making travelling around Shanghai very convenient.

Location Details

Pudong International Airport (PVG) Approximate travel time is 60 minutes and distance is 50 km (31 miles). Hongqiao Airport (SHA) Approximate travel time is 20 minutes and distance is 13 km (8 miles).

Getting there: Taxis are the recommended form of transport for guests to use to travel to the hotel. Airport transportation can be organised with the hotel after confirmation of the guestroom booking.
