Hotel Information: Hyatt Pinon Pointe consists of 14 two-story, pueblo-style buildings with 8-10 condominium units in each. A separate clubhouse is within walking distance of the office and condos. A graceful landscaped carriage entrance leads to the lobby.
Amenity highlights: The large outdoor pool has a flagstone deck with room for lounging, two spa tubs, a wading pool, and child-friendly fountains. The clubhouse has a large-screen television, DVD player, pool table, and tables for card and board games. The fitness center features a dozen cardio machines, resistance machines, free weights, mountain views, locker rooms, and steam rooms. Shopping and restaurants are two blocks away in Uptown Sedona, and the Shops at Pinon Pointe, next door to the condo complex, include a coffee shop, dress store, and art galleries.
Insider tip: Just outside Sedona is the Broken Arrow trail, a popular four-wheel-drive trip. The exciting route tumbles over the steep red rocks against a background of towering canyon walls, magnificent at sunset. The trail gets its name from Broken Arrow, a 1950 Western filmed here.
Rooms
Hyatt Pinon Pointe has 110 air-conditioned condominium-style units in 12 two-story, pueblo-style buildings, with more under construction. The 900-square-foot, two-bedroom condominiums have separate living and dining areas. The dining room and main bedroom open onto a furnished patio or balcony.
Decor varies slightly, but all units have Southwestern-inspired interiors marked by desert colors and natural woods. All beds except sofa beds have pillowtop mattresses.
Units have full kitchens with four-burner stovetops, microwaves, full-sized refrigerators, dishware, and cookware; fireplaces; washers and dryers; cable TV; CD/DVD players; complimentary wireless Internet access; and in-room safes. Second-floor condos have red-rock views.

Jeep tours to the red-rock country are available, and hiking trails, hot-air ballooning, and other excursions are located within a five-mile radius. The nearest golf is at public Oak Creek Golf Resort, with both nine- and 18-hole courses, open to the public. It’s located about six miles from the condos.
