Hotel Information: Las Casitas Village - Waldorf Astoria Collection is a condo development within a larger resort. The resort centers on The Grand Hotel, which is 100 yards from the Village on the same 300-foot cliff and features restaurants, pools, and panoramic views of the Atlantic and the Caribbean. Glass elevators extend from The Grand Hotel to a shopping promenade, where guests use elevator-like trams to reach a marina and waterfront.

Amenity highlights: An 8-minute catamaran ride from the resort's marina takes guests to the resort’s private island, Palomino, offering white sand beaches, horseback riding, hiking, a restaurant, bar, and gift/beachwear shop. The main pool complex terraces down the hillside and offers an activity pool, lap pool, lounge pool with swim-up bar, sundecks and lounge chairs, private cabanas, and a secluded spa tub. Coqui Water Park offers waterslides, an infinity-edge pool, a lazy river, an activity pool, and a bar and grill.

All accommodations at this Puerto Rico resort provide high-speed Internet access (surcharge), entertainment centers with cable TV and pay movies, stereos with CD players, and DVD players. Personal concierges are available 24 hours a day to serve guests' needs.

This Puerto Rico resort includes an 18-hole championship Arthur Hills golf course featuring 200-foot elevation changes and ocean views and a tennis center offering four clay and three hard-court tennis courts. Kayaks, pedal boats, sailboats, and Jet Skis can be rented on Palomino Island (surcharge). Guided horseback tours are also available on the island. An offshoot of the renowned Golden Door in Escondido, California, the 26,000-square-foot three-floor Golden Door Spa located in Las Casitas Village includes men's and women's sections with steam rooms, and eight-person skylighted spa tubs. A fitness center contains cardio and weight machines, free weights, and a workout studio equipped with spinners and offering award-winning fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, and yo-chi classes (surcharges). Personal training, fitness assessment, and body-composition analysis are also available. Spa guides lead power walks around the grounds and aerobics in the main pool. The spa includes a juice bar/café serving healthful spa cuisine.

Treatments in 25 private rooms begin with a Japanese bath under a waterfall shower. Massage options include hot stone, aromatherapy, deep-tissue, shiatsu, Thai, and couples. Strip House - Famed Manhattan steak restaurant decorated in silk and vintage Studio Manasse images. The innovative menu includes truffle cream spinach, goose fat potatoes, and prime cuts of beef charred cooked in Chef John Schenk’s kitchen. Desserts include the decadent 24-layer chocolate cake.
